According to Vogue Philippines, Ginseng Biloba contains a natural ginseng root extract that was developed exclusively with a French partner company. This ingredient gives the perfume a deep woody smell and a little bitterness. The smell is cut with a sharp botanical note of ginkgo biloba leaf.
Created by Christine Nagel, creative director of Hermès Perfumes, who researched the relationship of two natural ingredients. The composition of ginseng root and fan-shaped ginkgo leaves combines different qualities.

But the fragrance is not only known for its scent. The bottle is bright yellow glass referring to the golden color of the ginkgo leaves in autumn. The beige Swift calfskin bottle cap evokes the earthy hue of ginseng root, creating a visual link between vessel and contents.
