As a fashion content writer, I always love to stay on top of the newest jewellery launches as accessories can really change the look and feel of an outfit. This July I’ve noticed jewellery designers moving away from traditional designs and playing with jewellery that feels more personal, playful, artistic and versatile.
I was checking out the newest jewellery launches and a few launches that caught my eye. Whether it’s creative charms and statement pearls or nature-inspired high jewellery and pieces that can be worn in multiple ways, the month has plenty of inspiration for anyone into modern style. Playful Jewellery Is Making A Comeback
One of the launches to catch my eye is Pandora’s Pandora Wonders collection, made in collaboration with stylist Harry Lambert. The collection takes a more artistic approach to the classic charm concept with individually selected freshwater pearls sculpted into whimsical designs inspired by items like mushrooms, squid, rockets and ice cream cones.
This shows me how jewellery is becoming more than just an accessory. Unique charm can also communicate personality, interests and even a sense of humour.
Pearls Have a Contemporary Look
Another collaboration that’s interesting is the latest release by Mikimoto and Chrome Hearts. The two brands combine Mikimoto’s cultured pearls with the signature aesthetic and 22K gold accents of Chrome Hearts. The collection includes new takes on necklaces, bracelets, earrings and more.
I like the personality this gives to pearls, stronger and more contemporary. It shows that classic materials can feel fresh when presented in an unexpected way.
High Jewellery Gets More Personal
I also loved Boucheron’s 2026 Carte Blanche collection. Designed by creative director Claire Choisne, the collection revolves around individuality and the different ways to perceive the human experience thru five jewellery sets – Rain, Flower, Light, Tattoo and Checkers.
The craftsmanship that has gone into the collection makes it particularly interesting. The pieces employ techniques such as hand-painted rose quartz, engraving, laser-etched onyx, and carefully set diamonds.
As a fashion-conscious person, I find this approach exciting because it relates jewellery to personal identity, instead of just seeing jewellery as decoration.
Jewellery That Will Change With Your Style
I was also drawn to Marie Mas’s Caustic Light, a collection that takes inspiration from how light travels thru water. The designs incorporate secret mechanisms that enable some pieces to be turned into different pieces to be worn in various ways. Earrings can be transformed into brooches, hoops into bracelets and rings.
I think this is one of the most practical directions in jewellery today. Versatile pieces offer more ways for people to express their style, without wearing the same accessory in the same way every time.
A New Age of Heirlooms
Mother Chain, the debut collection from new fine jewellery brand Authorne, draws on the family story of founder Rachel Bu. The jewellery is inspired by a gold chain that was connected to her mother and passed down to her, giving the jewellery a strong sense of family, memory and legacy.
The collection also allows wearers to customise pieces with different clasps, charms and stones. It makes the jewellery more meaningful to me because the wearer can create something that tells their own story.
My Thoughts on July Jewellery Release
In my opinion, as a fashion content writer, jewellery is becoming more and more expressive in July 2026. Designers are playing with fun shapes, reinventing traditional materials, making customisable pieces and telling personal stories thru jewellery.
“I think it is really interesting that there is no direction for jewellery at the moment. Some brands are playing the humour and fantasy card, others are playing craftsmanship, heritage or versatility. This combo makes following the current jewellery scene particularly fun.
For fashion lovers, these launches are a reminder that the right accessory does more than complete an outfit – it can be a reflection of personality, creativity and individual style.
